Some railway crossings will be closed today and tomorrow in Foothills County.
Canadian Pacific Railway will be closing the at-grade rail crossing at 250th Ave and 16th St West today (Nov. 7) so they can complete some crossing improvements.
Tomorrow (Nov. 8), Canadian Pacific will also be closing the at-grade rail crossing at 274th Ave and Meridian St. for crossing improvements.
The work at both sites, on both days, will occur between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., which will also cause a road closure at each location.
On top of having detour signs erected, ATS Traffic will be onsite to help with traffic control.
The County apologizes for any inconvenience this work may cause.
