With Remembrance Day coming up on Monday, there will be several Okotoks town facilities that will be closed for the day.
The Municipal Centre, Operations Centre, Fire Station No. 1, RCMP/Municipal Enforcement, Okotoks Eco Centre, Okotoks Art Gallery, Okotoks Museum & Archives, Okotoks Public Library, and the Okotoks Family Resources Centre will all be closed for Remembrance Day on Monday, November 11.
The Okotoks Food Bank will also be closed on Monday, so anyone who needs to grab food from them, should head down there sooner rather than later.
For those who are active and want to work out, the Okotoks Rec Centre, Natural High Fitness Centre, and the Viking Rentals Centre will all have reduced hours.
Both the Rec Centre and the Natural High Fitness Centre will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., whereas the Viking Rentals Centre will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday.
As always, garbage pickup won't be affected, because the Town doesn't do garbage collections on Mondays.
Emergency services, such as 9-1-1, are never affected by closures.
