The Estevan Early Years Family Resource Centre is inviting community members to join in the holiday spirit with its 6th Annual Winter Plant Fundraiser, offering a selection of festive plants and arrangements to support its programs and services.
This year’s options include beautiful red and white poinsettias, holiday wreaths, and popular outdoor greenery arrangements. The centre also has a tropical indoor planter available, which makes “a great gift for those teachers,” said Misty Pennington from the Family Centre. Every purchase helps keep the centre’s programs free and accessible to all families in Estevan.
Orders can be placed online through the Family Centre’s Facebook page by November 19. Payment options include credit card and e-transfer, but “if you want to do cash or check, that’s not a problem,” said Pennington. “Just call the Family Centre and I’m more than happy to help you out.”
Items will be available for pickup at the Family Centre on December 4, with the exact time to be confirmed. “We’re not sure what time, so we’ll contact everybody once the plants are in,” Pennington added.
