The Winnipeg Blue Bombers are heading to their fifth consecutive Grey Cup appearance after defeating the Saskatchewan Roughriders 38-22 in front of a sold-out crowd at Princess Auto Stadium.
Quarterback Zach Collaros led the charge with a stellar performance, throwing four touchdown passes, including three to wide receiver Kenny Lawler. Collaros went 19-of-26 for 301 yards, keeping his record spotless with no interceptions.
Lawler was unstoppable, recording four receptions for an impressive 177 yards.

The crowd of 32,343 fans—marking the Bombers' fifth straight sellout—played a vital role in the victory, creating an electric atmosphere that kept the Roughriders on their heels.
“I just can’t say enough about our crowd tonight,” Collaros told TSN following the game.
“This province, this city, our fans are just amazing. They made it very difficult for the Riders all night. Yeah, just amazing. I just love playing here, man.”
On the Saskatchewan side, quarterback Trevor Harris completed 25-of-44 passes for 283 yards without interceptions, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Bombers’ dominant performance.
The Blue Bombers now look ahead to the Grey Cup in Vancouver on Nov. 17, where they will face the Toronto Argonauts.
Toronto narrowly beat the Montreal Alouettes 30-28 in the East Division final, but the Argos suffered a major setback when quarterback Chad Kelly was sidelined late in the fourth quarter with a broken tibia, requiring surgery and leaving him out for 6-9 months.
Backup QB Nick Arbuckle stepped in, completing 5 of 8 passes for 73 yards.
With this win, Winnipeg becomes only the fourth team in CFL history to reach the Grey Cup five years in a row, joining the Regina Roughriders (1928-32), Hamilton Tiger-Cats (1961-65), and the Edmonton Eskimos, who set the record with six consecutive appearances from 1977-82.
