The Winnipeg Jets have released a new calendar in hopes of helping a local pet rescue.
On Saturday, the Winnipeg Jets wives and girlfriends joined forces with D'Arcy's A.R.C (Animal Rescue Centre), a shelter dedicated to rescuing and caring for stray and abandoned cats and dogs until a safe, permanent home is found, to sell 2025 Jets Pets calendars in the concourse of Canada Life Centre.
The players also entered Canada Life Centre last Thursday walking or carrying some of the adoptable free agents from D'Arcy's Arc, hoping to gain the attention of a possible adopter.
The 2025 calendar features the players' pets, and adoptable pets from D'Arcy's Arc.
All proceeds from calendar sales will support D'arcy's Animal Rescue Centre.
Calendars can be purchased at all Jets Gear locations until they have sold out.
