An update from the trade that sent Brock Souch to the Okotoks Oilers from the Brooks Bandits has revealed that Sam Huck was involved in the trade.
Huck cemented his name on Oilers history when he finished one point away from tying franchise leader Kyle Reynolds at 164 points, but he's now been secured by the Bandits.
He is currently playing in the USHL with the Waterloo Black Hawks and has seven points in 17 games.
While he's not playing in the BCHL at this moment, if he decides to rejoin the league it will be with the Oilers number-one rival, Brooks.
The full deal is now Souch for Huck and future considerations. Souch is two years younger than Huck and has already made an impression with the Green and Gold as he's on the top line with Jackson Rowland and Hunter Sawka.
