It was a back-and-forth game that came down to a shootout at the Moose Jaw Events Centre last night. Unfortunately, the Moose Jaw Warriors fell 4-3 to the Swift Current Broncos.

"We did lots of good things tonight and at the end it comes down to penalty shots and for whatever reason over the years here, well, since I've been around we've struggled in the shootout. It was what it is, but it was a step in the right direction, but it would be nice to get the win," saidĀ Associate Coach, Scott King in a post-game interview with James Gallo.

The home-and-home series now shifts to Swift Current's InnovationPlex tonight. The pre-game show begins on Country 100 with the voice of the Warriors James Gallo at 6:40 p.m.

The Winnipeg Jets improved to 15-1-0 - which is the best start in NHL history - by doubling up on the New York Rangers 6-3 last night in the NHL. Elsewhere, the Senators blanked the Maple Leafs 3-nothing, the Oilers beat the Islanders 4-3, and the Canucks downed the Calgary Flames 3-1.
