Keep your eyes peeled for a porcupine near École Senator Riley Middle School

If you're out walking your dog near École Senator Riley Middle School be on the lookout for a porcupine.

Chelsea Roeters lives in the area and says the porcupine has been hanging around for the last four nights.

It's not causing any issues but it's a good reminder to keep your dog on a leash.

Porcupines are nocturnal therefore they are usually encountered at night. They also are herbivores that eat a wide variety of plants, leaves and shrubs.

If your dog encounters a porcupine and bites them, you usually have to go to the veterinarian to remove them.
