Moose Jaw conservation officers are investigating after the remains of two mule deer were illegally dumped near Buffalo Pound Lake.

On Tuesday, the officers received a Turn in Poachers and Polluters (TIPP) call that two mule deer buck heads and hides were found dumped on land without permission north of Buffalo Pound Lake.

Both mule deer were found with no seals attached.

It’s believed the deer remains were dumped in the area between the evening of Nov. 11 and the morning of Nov. 12.

Anyone who may have observed unusual or suspicious activity, vehicles or individuals in the area during this time are asked to contact your local conservation officer or call the Saskatchewan TIPP line at 1-800-667-7561.
