A motorist had their vehicle impounded and faces license suspensions and fines after excessive speeding on Wednesday night. 

The Moose Jaw Police Service clocked the vehicle at 160 km/h in a 100 km/h zone. 

The driver was issued a $910 fine, a seven-day license suspension, and a 30-day impound of the vehicle. 

As well, the driver received a $150 fine for violation of a license restriction, along with a 60-day license suspension and a three-day impoundment. 

The driver also tested positive for THC.
