The City of Moose Jaw released its snow clearing strategy with heavy snowfall in the forecast for this weekend.

Crews are performing snow clearing operations on Priority Two streets, and will shift to Priority Three roads after that is complete.

The snow removal crews will be closely monitoring the weather conditions as Environment Canada is calling for 10 to 20 centimetres of snow over the weekend.

If the weekend snowfall reaches five centimetres, crew will immediately shift their operations back to Priority One roads as per the city’s Winter Maintenance Policy
