With the deluge of snow that brought deteriorating road conditions throughout the province, it was a busy weekend for the Saskatchewan RCMP.

They said there were 16 reports of motor vehicle collisions thought to be related to poor driving conditions between 12 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 22 and 12 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 25.

The RCMP is reminding people to check the Highway Hotline for road conditions before setting out, and to make sure they have an emergency car kit with warm clothing, a tow chain or rope, a flashlight, non-perishable food and water, and booster cables, among other items useful in the case of an emergency.
