Riley Thorpe scored the big goal Friday night for the Teddy Bear Toss as the Moose Jaw Warriors took on the visiting Swift Current Broncos, but the celebration was short-lived as the Broncos held on for a 3-2 victory over the Warriors.

The Warriors head to Prince Albert tomorrow to play the Raiders, with puck drop at 7 p.m.

The Winmar AAA Warriors won both of their away games over the weekend against the Prince Albert Mintos, 7-4 on Saturday, and 4-1 on Sunday. The Winmar Warriors next travel to Regina on Wednesday to play the Pat Canadians and that'll be a first-place showdown as the AAA's sit just one point behind first place Regina.

In the Great Plains Futsal League, the Excelsior FC Under 16 Boys remain undefeated with a 4-0 record this season, beating QC United at Sask Poly 6-0 on Sunday.

NHL action last night, the Lightning doubled up on the Canucks 4-2, the Senators fell to the Islanders 4-2, Jets lost 4-1 to the Blue Jackets, and the Flames fell 6-2 to the Stars.
