Celebrate the Season: Holiday fun in the southeast this weekend

The Southeast is set to come alive with a weekend festive fun a plenty! From colorful celebrations to exciting activities for all ages, the region will be filled with laughter, music, and a sense of community. Whether you're joining in on the festivities or simply soaking up the atmosphere, this weekend promises unforgettable moments that will make the Southeast sparkle with holiday cheer! 

Saturday: 

Estevan's Downtown Business Association is hosting Miracle on 4th Street. Which will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the 1100 & 1200 block of 4th Street. With plenty of free activities for the family to enjoy including horse and carriage rides, music, games, crafts, street hockey, hot chocolate and more. 

There will be activities running throught the day with the  Carnival & Christmas Games hosted by the Souris Valley Museum from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. and Christmas Crafts with the Estevan Art Gallery & Museum from 12 p.m. - 3 p.m.

Stuff the Trucks Toy Drive for Estevan Angel Tree will be on location throughout the event, drop off a new, unwrapped toy and bring joy to families in need this Christmas.

Estevan Farmers Market indoor Christmas sales also return this weekend from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., offering an opportunity to get your Christmas shopping done while supporting local vendors. 

Oungre Memorial Regional Park is hosting a brunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., with a picture with Santa from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. 

Redvers Winterfest is bringing back their annual event, and has a full day of activities in store. They welcome people from across the region to come and celebrate the holidays with them. 

Carnduff continues holiday celebrations this weekend, with a Santa Claus Parade starting at 5:30 p.m. They will also be collection donations for their Santa Cause initiative, followed by the teddy bear toss during the Red Devils game. 

Alameda will also be celebrating the holidays with Santa Day with a variety of activities including a trade show, pictures with Santa,and a parade 

The holiday celebrations don't stop there in Estevan with Woodlawn Regional Parks Christmas in the Park on Sunday. The free event offers sleigh rides in the park, Christmas crafts, hot dogs and hot chocolate, pictures with Santa, and ends with a fireworks display. 

Following that the Festival of Lights will be up and running on display until January 1, 2025.
