THERENS, Teresa (Terry)
March 5, 1958 – December 17, 2024
It is with great sadness we announce that Teresa (Terry) Therens passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 17, 2024 with her husband, Daryl by her side.
Terry was born in Lachine, Quebec and moved to Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan with her family when she was about 2 years old.
Terry and Daryl met in high school and have been sweethearts ever since. They married in 1977, being the love of each other’s life.
Terry loved being with family and friends, sharing good food and enjoying a nice glass of wine. She was renowned for telling good jokes.
Terry rather liked her nickname from the family as “silver fox.”
Prior to her stroke in 2012, Terry enjoyed gardening in the yard and especially tending to her several large Koi in her Koi pond. They all had names and would swim up to Terry when she sat at the edge of the pond.
Terry loved reading. She also loved traveling with Daryl, especially to London and Paris
Terry will be missed for her humour, love of life, and compassion.
Terry was predeceased by her parents, Edward and Winnifred Drake; her brothers-in-law, Elmer Lawson and Chris Therens. Terry will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Daryl; sons, Dustin and Dylan; grandchildren, Aira, Devon, Bethany, Freya and Ronnie; other family includes, Sandy (Pete) Papenfus, Ronnie Lawson, Ted (Lorie) Drake, Peggy Beaton, Debra Therens, and Joni Therens; as well as many nieces and nephews. Terry will also be remembered by many friends.
