Two people were arrested after the Weyburn Police Service executed a search warrant Friday.
The warrant, which was executed on a residence in Weyburn, was carried out by the Criminal Investigation Unit along with support from patrolling members, and PSD Oakley. Police say they seized controlled substances as well as evidence of drug trafficking.
The investigation resulted in the arrest of Ryley Mantei and Julia Huard. They were both charged with trafficking cocaine, trafficking methamphetamine, possession for the purpose of trafficking methamphetamine, and possession of a weapon dangerous to the public.
Mantei is also facing charges for failing to comply with a release order. He was remanded into custody and made his first appearance in court on Monday.
