Alice & Charlie Thompson of Carnduff, Saskatchewan are celebrating their 72nd Anniversary today in conjunction with Valentine's Day.
Alice joined Lyle McGillivray on the Big Breakfast Show this morning on Country 106.1 and shared some lifelong tips that she has for such an amazing marriage. Not only are they enjoying 72 years of being together, but they are also still living on their farm in the Carnduff area. Alice is so thankful for the life their allowed to continue by waking up in the morning and seeing wildlife in their yard and hearing the birds singing. She credits their Grandson who is their caregiver for making this happen.
Charlie who just turned 98 this week keeps busy in the shop each day, a former mechanic who loves fixing and restoring items. Alice lets us know what his current project is that's consuming his time.
