Airdrie RCMP has confirmed that a propane truck has rolled over on Range Road 13, between Township Road 264 and Highway 566, just west of Airdrie city limits.

Crews are currently on the scene working to offload the propane. RCMP stated there is no risk to the public, and no injuries have been reported.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area, as traffic cannot proceed through. Drivers should take an alternate route.

Earlier reports indicated a truck had flipped into the ditch near Range Road 13 and Yankee Valley Boulevard, though RCMP has since clarified the location.

Winter driving conditions remain in effect across the region. While the QEII from Calgary to the north of Highway 2A is mostly bare and dry, drivers should watch for icy shoulders, slippery sections, blowing snow, and icy wheel paths. Snowfall may further impact visibility and road conditions.

This is a developing story.
