Windmill Theatre Players are busy right now rehearsing for the play Deathtrap.
While that doesn't debut until April 25, some upcoming performances are coming to High River before then.
Co-director of Deathtrap, Laura Ferguson, gets to take off her director's hat and sit back to enjoy some upcoming productions.
"We're also going to be hosting the One Act [Regional] Festival this year. March 28th and 29th are the dates for that. That's always fun."
It's a chance for High River and surrounding areas to see some new and local talent.
"So, that's groups from the zone 8 area in Alberta. It's run by the Alberta Drama Festival Association and we're hosting so, we'll have groups from Strathmore and Canmore and Okotoks, just all of the surrounding area coming and doing one-acts together."

Windmill Theatre Players last hosted the provincials in 2019.
WTP is also hosting a casino night fundraiser this weekend at Ace Casino Blackfoot.
