On Feb. 22, Para Hockey Alberta will be offering Red Deer and area a free open-door opportunity to participate in its Sledge Hockey Try It Event.
The event will take place from 12 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. at the G. H. Dawe Community Center in Red Deer.
Sleds, sticks and protective equipment will be provided, along with basic instruction.
A Para Hockey Alberta Sledge Hockey tournament will be taking place throughout the weekend at the arena.
Junior and adult teams from across Alberta will be competing.
