The Lethbridge Police are asking for help from the public to help identify a man connected to fraud.
Last November, an unknown man opened a bank account at a bank in Lethbridge, deposited a fraudulent cheque, and then later withdrew the funds.
The account had fraudulent activity occurring in both Lethbridge and Calgary, and after some investigation, the police have determined that the male could also have ties to Vancouver and the area.
Because of the fraudulent activity, the police are asking the public to help identify the male involved.
If anyone has any information that could be helpful during the investigation is being asked to call the police at 403-328-4444 and let them know this information is for file number 24024704.
