Caroline Adelheid (née Kohnle) Becker
August 19, 1933 – February 19, 2025

Caroline Adelheid (née Kohnle) Becker was born in Willmont, Saskatchewan on August 19, 1933, and grew up in the Willmont District. She was the second of four children, one of which died in infancy. In 1952, she met the love of her life, Mike Becker and they were married on August 3, 1953. The couple was blessed with seven children, four daughters and three sons, however, two of the triplets, a daughter and a son, died in infancy. In 1955, Caroline and Mike moved to Fulda, where they bought and operated the hotel for the next 29 years until they retired. In 1998, they moved to Humboldt, and Caroline continued to live in her home until March of 2024 when she suffered a stroke. Caroline then moved to Quill Plains Centennial Lodge in Watson for a month until settling into St. Mary’s Villa in Humboldt where she resided until her passing. In her leisure time Caroline loved to play cards, do puzzles and had a large garden for many years. She loved the Toronto Blue Jays and watching curling. By far her favorite thing was having her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren come to visit her. She was a home body and loved to be at home but really enjoyed when people would come to visit her. Caroline will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her 5 children, 12 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren: daughter Sharon Nienaber of Humboldt and family: Christopher Nienaber of Humboldt, his children: Tyson, Ryder and Cooper, and Kaylee (Tyler) Dust of Humboldt, their children: Keegan, Aria and Emerson; son Allan Becker (Barb) of Humboldt and family: Alyssa (Trent) Siegel of Lloydminster, their children: Kaydence, Khylar, and Everley, Amanda (Chad) Waldbauer of Humboldt, their children: Terex, Ava and Lochlyn, Kara Becker (Shane Loessl) of Humboldt, their son Luka, and Matthew Becker (Brittyni Carlson) of Minneapolis, MN; daughter Colleen (Brian) Fleischhacker of Saskatoon and family: Chelsea (Chris) Whiteside of Saskatoon, their children: Hallie and Aidan, and Nikia Fleischhacker (Ryan Grzinic) of Saskatoon; daughter Donna (Lee) Weber of Morinville, AB and their family: Dayton Klashinsky (Megan MacInnis) of Humboldt, their children: Alexis, Clair and Karter, and Jillian (Yvon) Charrois of Morinville, AB, their children: Kalli, Brynn, Mya and Marcus, and son Sheldon (Peggy) Becker of Cudworth, their family, Shelby (Dawson) Boehm of Martensville, their daughter Sutton, and Jarod Becker (Caelie Illerbrun) of Saskatoon; sister, Marion Suer of Humboldt; and sister-in law, Bernice Becker of Watson. Caroline was predeceased by her husband Mike; her daughter and son in infancy: Shelley and Darrel; her sons-in-law: Francis Nienaber and Melvin Klashinsky; her parents, August and Mary Kohnle; her stepfather, Leonard Kohnle, her brother Henry Kohnle; and numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. The Funeral Mass was offered at St. Augustine Roman Catholic Church, Humboldt, SK, on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at 10:30 am, celebrated by Fr. Colin Roy.
