Four motorists were suspended from driving by Morden police in the last week.

The first incident happened shortly before Midnight on Friday, February 14th when officers on patrol noticed a speeding vehicle and pulled it over. That's when they say they could smell liquor coming from the driver. Following a roadside test, which resulted in a warning, the driver was issued a 72-hour suspension, 3-day vehicle impoundment and a $400 fine.

Then, two drivers were pulled off the road Sunday following roadside tests.

The first was pulled over by police on general patrol. After detecting the smell of liquor coming from the driver, officers made a demand for a roadside test. That resulted in a warning and the driver was issued a 72-hour driving suspension, a 3-day vehicle impoundment and a $400 fine.

The second happened at 2:30 a.m., when general patrol officers pulled over a vehicle they say swerving between lanes. The driver ultimately failed a roadside breath test and was issued a 90-day driving suspension, had their vehicle impounded for 30-days and issued a $700 fine.

And finally, on Monday, another driver failed a roadside test and was issued a 90-day driving suspension, 30-day vehicle impoundment and a $700 fine.
