A young man at the centre of a desperate search has been located deceased according to RCMP.
Kristopher Sandy, 19, was last seen Feb. 20 around 10 p.m. leaving his home to go for a drive in the R.M. of St. Clements.
Sandy's vehicle was found upside down in a ditch off Highway 12 just before 7 a.m. on Friday. However, when emergency crews arrived on the scene, no one was in the vehicle.
Family and friends had formed a search party along with emergency personnel and combed the area on Saturday.
Just before 1 p.m. on Saturday the RCMP sent out a release saying that the man had been found deceased.
There are no details on this time where he was located or how he was found.
Mounties say that they are continuing the investigation into his death.
The RCMP thanked the public for their assistance.
