Arnold Edward Canfield January 18, 1928 - November 5, 2021
Arnold passed away peacefully at Pinecrest Home for the Aged on November 5, 2021 at the age 93.
He lived all his life in Kenora as was a man of many trades and master of all. He was always happy to lend a helping hand whenever asked and expected nothing in return. He was the go-to person if you needed something.
Dad and mom were married for 72 years and enjoyed many winters in Florida and Texas where they made many lasting friendships. One of their passions was square dancing which was a big part of their lives together.
Left to cherish his memory, his loving wife Doris, daughter Marlene, son Terry and wife Cathy, daughter-in-law Margot, grandchildren Jason (Kara), Brynn (Jodelle), Jami (Mike), Dayna (John) and Darrian. Great grandchildren Gwen, Piper, Callum, Oliver and Eden. His brother Willard, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Willard and Sandra Allan, sister-in-law Theresa, many nieces, nephews, friends and extended families
Dad was predeceased by his son Don, parents Lockwood and Lena, in-laws William and Lola Allan, brother and their wives, Charlie and Marguerite, Norman and Dorothy, Dave and Helen, sister-in-law Shirley Canfield and sister-in-law Vivian (Leo) Schabler.
The family would like to extend appreciation for the wonderful care given to Dad; namely Dr. Workman, friends at Gardner House and the great staff at Pinecrest Home for the Aged.
