The Carstar Okotoks Bisons are once again playing for the HJHL South Division final.
They finished off the Cannex Cochrane Generals over the weekend, but just barely.
The Herd went into the weekend up two-games-to-none in the best of five series.
However, the Gens won game three on Friday night in their own barn 4-2 but it was the Bisons charging back on Saturday night for an epic battle.
The game four final was 6-5 in overtime in favour of the Herd.
The Gens were up 2-0 at the end of the first period, but the Bisons battled back to lead 4-3 after 40 minutes and both teams skated to a 5-4 draw after 60 minutes.
Overtime hero Kegan Law scored at the 9:20 mark of overtime, unassisted, for the win.
The Herd now take on the Medicine Hat Cubs who just picked off the Strathmore Agra Risk Wheatland Kings, in another best of five series.
Game one goes this Friday at 8 p.m. in Okotoks' Murray Arena as they have home ice advantage. Game two goes Sunday in the Hat at 3 p.m.
Games three, four (if needed), and five (if needed) are scheduled for Tuesday, March 11 at 8 p.m. in Okotoks, Thursday, March 13 at 8:30, with a game five time and date have yet to be decided.
