Nominations have opened once again for the Okotoks Hall of Fame.

The program honours people and groups who have made standout contributions to the community, with the nomination and selection process happening every four years.

Any individual, alive or dead, can be nominated, as can teams or groups.

To be eligible, nominees must have resided in Okotoks for at least five years and must have done so at the time of their achievements.

The four nomination categories are Sports, Arts & Culture, and Community Service.

Nominations will be accepted until June 30, with the Governance and Priorities Committee acting as the selection panel.

A nomination package must be submitted, including a photo and a letter of support, along with information on the nominee and their achievements.

No more than two inductees per category will be selected.
