A motor vehicle collision that caused significant delays on southbound QEII near CrossIron Mills has been cleared, according to 511 Alberta. However, residual congestion remains as traffic volume clears.
Multiple lanes were blocked following the crash, with officials warning of lane closures, no passing zones, and heavy congestion. Drivers were urged to use caution and be prepared to stop.

Emergency crews and police were on the scene, though it remains unclear if there were any injuries. Weather conditions may worsen later tonight, with a mix of rain and snow expected near midnight.
It's predicted that five centimetres of snowfall and wind gusts up to 60 km/h could impact road conditions.
