Susan Giesbrecht nee Schroeder, 96, of Altona passed away Friday, March 7th at Boundary Trails Health Centre. She is survived by 2 daughters, 3 sons, and their families. She was predeceased by her husband Lawrence and 1 grandson.
The celebration of life for Susan Giesbrecht nee Schroeder will be held Tuesday, March 11th at 2pm at Altona EMMC with burial prior to the service at 1pm at Altona Cemetery.
Viewing will be at Wiebe Funeral Home, Altona Monday, March 10th from 1 to 9pm.
Donations may be made to La Fortaleza School Complex, Bolivia c/o the EMMC Conference or MCC Manitoba.

Susan Giesbrecht (nee Schroeder), age 96 years, of Altona, Manitoba passed away on Friday, March 7, 2025 at the Boundary Trails Health Centre. She is survived by her children Sharon (Richard) Funk, Angela (Jim) Harms, Jim (Val) Giesbrecht, Steve (Diane) Giesbrecht, and Harv (Jeannette) Giesbrecht, as well as 15 grandchildren, and 23 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Lawrence Giesbrecht and one grandson.
A celebration of Susan's life will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at the Altona EMM Church. Interment will take place prior to the service at 1:00 p.m. at the Altona Cemetery.bViewing will be at Wiebe Funeral Home Altona on Monday, March 10 from 1:00 - 9:00 p.m.
Donations in memory of Susan may be made to assist the ongoing development of the La Fortaleza School complex in Santa Cruz, Bolivia” Cheques to be made payable to EMMC with “La Fortaleza School” in the memo section.
