Lacombe is hosting a free 'Try it Day' for roller hockey next month.
The event will take place April 13 at the Gary Moe Auto Group Sportsplex.
President of the Alberta Minor Roller Hockey Association Ted Zylstra says there's no cost for participants and roller blades will be provided.
Those participating will need to bring full hockey equipment.
Zylstra says the goal is to eventually set up a roller hockey league in the area.
