From parkour to pottery: Unique spring break camps for kids

Spring Break is just around the corner.  Here's a look at some of the day camps your child can be a part of:

Across The Board Game Café (March 31-April 4)

• Options for ages 8-12 and 13-17
• In addition to playing D&D, campers will get to learn more about D&D, how to create their own adventures for their friends and learn how to paint their own miniatures.
• Half day classes

A Rocha Manitoba (April 1-2)

• Ages 6-12
• Birds on the Break: Spring Break Camp will feature different types of learning and playing each day. From reading stories to doing art, to bird watching and designing and constructing bird feeders, there is something for everyone.
• One day or both

Baseball Manitoba (March 31-April 4)

• Ages 6-12
• Improve your skills before the season by attending these camps which will emphasize physical activity, technique, and play. 
• Full day classes

Bricks 4 Kidz Winnipeg-Southeast (March 28-April 4)

• Ages 5-12 at St. Emile School
• One-day camps packed with creativity, STEM challenges and teamwork, where kids will build 3D models, mosaics and mechanical LEGO creations.
• One day, full day classes

Engineering for Kids

• Ages 6-10
• A week with engineering, crafting, laser tag and arcade
• Full day classes

Hidden Treasures Studios in Gimli (March 31-April 4)

• Ages 6-12
• A week jam-packed with art adventures, including exploration of watercolour, acrylic, pottery painting and glass fusing
• Half day classes

Macdonald- Headingley Recreation District (March 31-April 4)

• Kindergarten to Grade 6
• A fun-filled week of geocaching, scavenger hunts and exciting nature-based play. 
• Full day classes

Mini Ballers Kids Spring Break Camp

• Ages 3-12
• Engaging games, crafts, outdoor play, basketball and movement
• Full week, full day and half day options

Serratus Movement Centre (March 31-April 4)

• Ages 5+
• Campers spend their day learning Parkour, Ninja Warrior and more
• Single day or full week

True North Youth Foundation at Camp Manitou (March 31-April 4)

• Chill and Thrill camp for Grades 1-6 and Breakaway Camp (hockey focus) for Grades 3-6
