The first ever Okotoks Got Talent was held on Friday, March 7, but it's not over just yet.
Along with being a showcase for local talent, the event was a fundraiser for the United Way Okotoks Partnership.
So far, over $15,000 has been raised, but it's not too late to contribute.
The United Way committee has decided to leave the donation link open for the rest of the month, with a goal of $20,000.
Funds raised will support local non-profits and social programs in the Okotoks area.
The event saw a sold-out crowd of over 500 people, featuring 18 performances from locals of all ages.
Given the success of its first iteration, a second event is already in the works for early 2026.
