The Okotoks Oilers are in a tight race to make the playoffs in the BCHL.
With only two weekends left of regular league play every point matters.
The Oil had a tough weekend losing both games on Friday and Saturday.
Friday, they headed to Brooks and lost 6-4 to the Bandits and then on Saturday they lost 2-1 to the Cranbrook Bucks.
The BCHL has two conferences with 10 and 11 teams respectively with only the top eight teams making the playoffs.
The Oilers currently sit in 8th place in the Interior Conference with 45 points. The West Kelowna Warriors are in 7th with 47 points while the Spruce Grove Saints are in 9th with 40 points.
The Green and Gold have four more games left in the regular season before playoffs start.
