Strathmore Library displays Irish books for St. Patrick's Day

To get into the St. Patrick's Day mood, the Strathmore Municipal Library has set up an Irish-themed book display.

The diorama was placed in the library last week and will remain up for most of this week.

According to staff, the library sets up special displays depending on events and the month.

Some of the books include an Irish country cookbook, a novel on tracing Irish family history, and a graphic novel biography of Irish author James Joyce.

Staff said that when books are taken from the display, the library works to replace them with new ones.

Despite the book display, the Strathmore Library is not offering St. Patrick's Day programming this year.
