The Calgary Wild FC are almost ready to kick off an all-women's Canadian professional soccer league.

Joining the Northern Super League, they'll unveil their team uniforms tomorrow, Thursday, March 20 at McMahon Stadium where they will play during the regular season.

The six-team league's inaugural season kicks off with the Calgary Wild FC taking a trip to Vancouver on April 16th when they take on the Vancouver Rise at B.C. Place Stadium.

The club already has their logo and according to its website, a lot of thought went into it.

"The club's logo consists of an owl made in red and violet, colours referencing the Calgary sky, with the rivers and mountains that make up Calgary's landscape are represented, and a W above the owl's eyes, with its five points representing the Famous Five (a group of women who fought to have women recognized as persons under Canadian law) and the five nations of Treaty 7."
