A 23-year-old woman is recovering after she was assaulted while walking to work.
The incident happened around midnight Saturday in the 500 block of Portage Avenue.
Winnipeg police say the woman was walking to her night shift when a group of teens began following her. They eventually caught up to her, threw her to the ground, demanded her property and began assaulting her.
A bystander saw what was happening and shouted at the group. They ran off before the police arrived.
The assault was caught on camera and officers were able to locate the suspects nearby. They were arrested and taken into custody.
The victim was treated for her injuries and is in stable condition.
A 14-year-old boy and a 15-year-old female are facing a charge of robbery. They remain in custody.
A 12-year-old girl is also facing a charge of robbery but was released on an undertaking.
