Residents of Pinnacle Ridge are invited to provide feedback on the $12.50 levy, which helps fund the operation and maintenance of the front entrance fountain and water feature.

The City is welcoming residents to discuss the levy at the following meetings:

·         Operational Services Committee Meeting – Tuesday, April 15, 2025

·         City Council Meeting – Monday, April 21, 2025

Residents wishing to attend the Council meeting can notify Legislative Services any time before the 3 p.m. session. Those intending to speak as a delegate may submit their presentations via email to AgendaAdmin@cityofgp.com.

“Community input is key to ensuring the continuation of the Pinnacle Ridge water feature,” says Director of Engineering and Transportation Services, Wade Nellis. “We encourage residents to take part in these discussions and share their perspectives with Council.”

The levy applies to properties in the SE 15-71-6-W6 area of Pinnacle Ridge.

This special recreational services levy was introduced in 2010 at the request of the Pinnacle Ridge Neighbourhood Association to preserve the water feature. The association gathered approximately 700 signatures in support of maintaining the fountain through a levy.
