Mark your calendars. Reservations for provincial park campgrounds will open in just over a week.
To help keep up with demand, the province is once again staggering opening dates over five days from April 7 to 11, making it easier for Manitobans to secure their favourite spot. And as announced in the budget last week, the province is making park entry free for one year.
“Spring is here and Manitobans are looking forward to spending quality time in nature,” said Environment and Climate Change Minister Mike Moyes. “This year, as Canadians are choosing to explore closer to home, Manitoba’s provincial parks offer incredible destinations for adventure, relaxation and discovery."
Ahead of reservation day, Manitobans are encouraged to check their accounts and passwords and remind themselves of reservation rules.
