A temporary extension to the City's paid parking spaces downtown has been implemented for the BKT World Men's Curling Championship, up to a maximum of four hours.
The new maximum limit will be in place from March 31 to April 4, 2025, to accommodate visitors to Moose Jaw attending the World Men's Curling event. The length of the parking time limit extension takes into account that there is no charge for parking on weekdays after 6 p.m. and on weekends.
“We made this temporary change to reflect the length of games and the Temple Gardens Centre ‘No Re-entry Policy’,” said Maryse Carmichael, City Manager.
“We encourage all visitors to download and use the City’s free Hotspot parking app, which allows them to add time to their meter from their seat by entering their meter number.”
The new, four-hour limit applies to Hotspot app users only. The app can be downloaded free-of-charge from the Apple or Google Play Stores.
