The Okotoks Oilers of the BCHL are all now set for round one of the playoffs against the Penticton Vees.

The Oil just squeaked into the BCHL playoffs as the 8th place team in the BCHL Interior Conference.

The Vees finished number one overall in the BCHL with a 41-8-5 record for 87 points, while the Oilers finished with a 21-30-3 record for 45 points.

The Oilers did manage to beat the Vees once during the regular season back on December 29 when the Green and Gold topped the Vees 4-3 in overtime.

The playoffs face off in Penticton for games one and two before returning home to the Viking Rentals Centre on Tuesday, April 8th and Wednesday, April 9th.

It's a best-of-seven series.

Game 1 – April 3 in Penticton at South Okanagan Events Centre, 8:00 p.m. MDT
Game 2 – April 6 in Penticton at South Okanagan Events Centre, 5:00 p.m. MDT
Game 3 – April 8 in Okotoks at Viking Rentals Centre, 7:00 p.m. MDT
Game 4 – April 9 in Okotoks at Viking Rentals Centre, 7:00 p.m. MDT

Game 5 – April 12 in Penticton at South Okanagan Events Centre, 8:00 p.m. MDT *If necessary
Game 6 – April 13 in Okotoks at Viking Rentals Centre, 7:00 p.m. MDT *If necessary
Game 7 – April 15 in Penticton at South Okanagan Events Centre, 8:00 p.m. MDT *If necessary
