Parking stalls removed on Main Street North

As of yesterday, the parking stalls on the west side of Main Street North from Ross to Saskatchewan Street have been removed by the City of Moose Jaw, in a bid to improve traffic flow and safety.

The City says that the move will ensure sufficient clearance of all four lanes of travel, noting that parking on the east side of Main Street is already prohibited north of Oxford Street East.

Letters have been sent to affected homeowners and businesses in the area.

Concerns about the change can be sent via the "Report an Issue" option on the City of Moose Jaw website.
