The Estevan Public Library is kicking off April with a series of engaging events for all ages, highlighted by a creative Easter reading challenge, a popular book sale, and a family escape room adventure.

Jason Redshaw, the branch manager of the Estevan Public Library, joined the SUN 102 Morning Show to share some details. Check out the full interview.

Egg-citing Easter Reading Challenge

Library visitors can dive into the Easter spirit by participating in the Easter reading challenge. Upon visiting the library, guests will find a bowl filled with Easter eggs, each containing a reading prompt. Completing the prompt earns participants an entry into a draw for an ice cream maker. It’s a fun way to explore new books and celebrate the season.

Spring Book Sale Returns

The annual spring book sale will run from Thursday, April 10th, through Sunday, April 13th. Gently used books of all genres are available, with the exception of encyclopedias. On the final day, readers can fill a tote bag with books for just $5—a perfect chance to refresh personal bookshelves.

Family Escape Room Adventure

Families are invited to tackle the library’s family escape room later in April. The challenge involves helping the Easter Bunny navigate a garden and repair his display. Those who solve the puzzle successfully can claim victory and enjoy a memorable experience.

The Estevan Public Library continues to offer engaging, community-focused programming throughout April. For more information on upcoming events, visit the library or follow their social media pages.
