The Kindersley and District Arts Council's highly anticipated fundraiser concert, originally scheduled for Saturday, April 5 at the Norman Ritchie Community Centre, has been postponed due to unforeseen circumstances. A new date and additional details will be announced as soon as they become available.
The event was set to feature local rock band The Radiant, alongside local musician Curtis Ehresman, as part of the Arts Council’s efforts to bring diverse arts programming to the community.
Arts Council President Keith Jamison emphasized the importance of the fundraiser in supporting the organization, which has faced challenges in drawing audiences to its regular events.
“We’ve been having a tough time getting people out to our regular shows,” said Jamison. “This fundraiser was planned to bring in a different kind of act and engage more people in the arts scene. We remain committed to making this event happen at a later date.”
The Radiant, known for blending alternative rock, grunge, and psychedelic influences, had been looking forward to the performance, particularly as four of its five members have roots in Kindersley.
The Kindersley and District Arts Council encourages supporters to stay tuned for updates on the new concert date.
