Local hockey players will be back on the ice this weekend for Hockey Saskatchewan's Sask First Top 136 Tournament for female under-16.
Each player from the area that attended regional camp in Dalmeny back at the end of January made the roster. Tess Kelly from Brock made it as a goalie, Reese Doig (Delisle), Calla Erlandson (Outlook), Collins Legge (Rosetown), and Berkley Wuttunee (Kerrobert) made it as defense, while forwards Macklin Connor (Beechy), Madison Cordes (Rosetown), Hayden Hilbig (Kindersley), Charleigh Johnson (Rosetown), Harper Kampen (Rosetown), Jalaa Moore Jagow (Rosetown) and Shayla Schmaltz (Eatonia) finished out the list of local players.
Those players are part of the Top 68 on the north roster, matching another 68 for the south. Players will do their best to make the cut for the summer camp/fall showcase afterwards.
