Preparations are already underway for the next season of the Saskatchewan Junior Female Hockey League.

The Western Prairie Junior Klippers are just one team with their spring camp plans nailed down. They have the West Central Events Centre booked for two days at the end of April for a day of skills work and then scrimmages.

There will be three skates total over the two-day camp on April 26 and 27. The first skills session on the Saturday will run 11:00-12:30, another one taking place between 3:00-4:30. After that on Sunday between 3:00-4:30 will be a scrimmage.

The camp is for players born between 2004-2010, as you can find a link to register for the camp HERE.

More opportunities to play

The SJFHL announced they are looking into expansion for the 2025-26 season.

More teams just means more roster spots for U22 players who otherwise wouldn't have had a place to go. Expect more tryout information when the new teams become confirmed, as you can read more about the expansion and the league championship being handed out last week below.
