Strathmore Motor Products is hosting a fundraiser this weekend.
The dealership is inviting residents to test drive any available vehicle, with $20 being donated to the Strathmore Hospital Auxiliary fund for each joyride.
Les Smith, vehicle sales manager at the dealership, says they've been running this fundraiser for eight years.
"It was a program at that time sponsored by General Motors, but this time this is just all Strathmore Motors. This is just us, and we just kind of dug it out of the archives and thought, let's give it a go."
Smith chose to direct the funds toward the hospital because of his coworkers.
"There are some personal connections with some of our staff here in the building. Nobody ever wants to use the hospital. But I mean, we've all had to and we're just a part of our community, right?" Smith said.
"I mean, this is just one more thing that we try to give back to our community."
In addition to supporting the hospital, anyone who test drives a vehicle can also enter to win prizes from local businesses.
The fundraiser ends Saturday at 4 p.m.
