Agra Risk Wheatland Kings celebrate historic season with awards banquet

Over the weekend, players and families of the Agra Risk Wheatland Kings were honoured at their annual awards banquet.

The Strathmore Family Centre Arena hosted more than 130 families and players.

The event featured speeches from the coaching staff and athletes.

Awards were presented to several players:

• Rookie of the Year: Derrick Ford.
• Most Dedicated Player: Joel Romano.
• Most Valuable Player: Tegan Skehar.
• Most Improved Player: Hayden Baker.
• Most Defensive Player: Lachlan Stewart.
• Top Defenseman: Tegan Skehar.
• Top Forward: Philip Raycroft.
• Top Scorer: Cole Tweit.
• King of the Year: Adam Moore.

Baldwin BBQ was there to serve up food, and a party ensued after the awards were over.
