Winnipeg Warrant Executed
On April 7th at 11:39AM a 35-year-old male turned himself in at Brandon Police Service (BPS). He had an endorsed Winnipeg Police Service (WPS) Warrant of Arrest confirmed on file (Charge – Assault). He was released on an Undertaking with a court date of June 18th, 2025.
Failure to Comply Undertaking
On April 7th at 3:43PM a vehicle stop was conducted in the 500 block of 2nd Street. The 29-year-old male operator of the vehicle was on an Undertaking not to communicate with the 21-year-old female passenger, who was within the vehicle. The male, who resides in Saskatchewan, was arrested and held for court in the morning on April 8th, 2025.
Breach of Probation
On April 7th at 7:52PM police were called to a disturbance at a residence in the 800 block of Richmond Avenue where a female was banging on the window of a residence to whom she had a non-communication condition with. Police located the 40-year-old female who was intoxicated by drug. She was medically cleared and held in detention cells to prevent further issues. She will be released on an Appearance Notice once sober with a court date of June 9th, 2025.
IPDA (Intoxicated Persons Detention Act)
On April 7th at 8:12PM police responded to a report of a female banging on the windows of a building in the 200 block of 8th Street. Police located a 41-year-old female who was intoxicated. With no one to turn her over to she was medically cleared and held in detention cells until sober.
Arrest Warrant
On April 7th at 9:38PM security from a building in the 700 block of Princess Avenue requested police to assist in the removal of a banned individual. A 28-year-old male was located and found to be wanted on an outstanding Warrant of Arrest. (Failure to Attend Court, Theft Under & Failure to Attend Prints). The male was arrested, held in detention cells due to his behavior and to prevent further disturbance. He will be released on an Appearance Notice in the morning. A court date of May 12th, 2025 has been set.
Breach of the Peace
On April 7th at 11:56PM police responded to a report of a daughter fighting with her mother in Westaway Bay. The mother, 38-year-old female, declined medical attention. The 17-year-old daughter was arrested and held in detention cells to prevent behavior from continuing. She will be released in the morning once calmed down.
