A Strathmore resident is sharing her art with the community.
It all started with an idea from Maralie Toth's father-in-law.
"By living in my home, he decided to tap into his kid side and sort of putting things on the fence to get his grandkids' attention," said Toth.
Toth says it quickly became a source of amusement for neighbouring kids.
The first project her father-in-law created featured the original Donkey Kong, with Peach and Mario.
"The figures are toys and as an artist who has been selling and making things for different markets as a vendor for the last several years, I was introduced to the world of 3-D printing," Toth added.
The pair worked together to make and print the toys instead of buying them.
"It just makes it more of a family fun project," said Toth.
The second piece highlights Super Mario, and another features Pac-Man, along with Snoopy and Woodstock sitting on a weathervane next to a Red Baron plane.
Toth says many residents have reached out about the public art.
Toth's son is autistic, and she says it was one of the reasons she started playing around with toys that people were printing.
"I've started selling them at markets, and I've found joy in making other kids happy as well."
The characters can be viewed at 602 Willow Drive in Strathmore.
