The RCMP's Wanted Wednesday initiative is focusing on a man from Wheatland County.
In a social media post, police say Shane Jason Pentelescu is wanted for various crimes, though the nature of the crimes were not given.
Police say that Pentelescu is known to frequent Wheatland County, Hanna, Stettler, Kneehill County, and Drumheller.
He was previously charged with possession of fentanyl during a traffic stop in December 2024. Police said that Pentelescu was also charged with failing to comply with a release order.
Officers say the seized fentanyl was in the shape of a heart, which may make it more appealing to children who think it is candy.
RCMP are asking residents not to approach Pentelescu if he is spotted, and to instead call their local police detachment.
